I wholeheartedly recommend Brookhurst Optometic Center in Fountain Valley. My wife and I are very pleased with the thoroughness and care that Dr. Aaron Chi provides for all our vision needs. Dr. Chi is thorough andf personable. He explains each of his examination steps and answers our question unrushed.
Dr. Chi's office uses state of the art equipment to aid in the examination process and this ensures that you do not need to have your eye dilated.
Dr. Chi's staff is friendly, caring and knowledgable. Maria, Jakub, Samantha and Lina put us at ease and walk us through the selection of frames, explain lens options and costs and also what our insurance will cover. We are very happy with Dr. Chi and his excellent staff.

I've been a patient of Dr. Chi at Brookhurst Optometry for over 10 years, and even though I now live in Castaic, I happily make the drive to see them. Dr. Chi and the entire staff are truly awesome. They are flexible, understanding, personable, and approachable. I always feel well taken care of. Highly recommend!

When Dr Chi took over the practice, I felt he had big shoes to fill after Dr Cooperman retired. I couldn't be more impressed. I love all the updated testing equipment and the fabulous staff. (Special shout out to Samantha, and her consistent cheerful attitude.) Dr Chi gives one of the most thorough exams I have ever had. I do pay out of pocket to have the retinal photograph done each year, as diabetes is a scourge in my family, and Dr Chi would be the first to identify it via that test! We moved from 7 minuets away to 25 minuets away, and we still drive down in order to get the care we are used to from Brookhurst Optometric

Staff is efficient and friendly. Dr. Chi took his time to complete my exam, review the tests that had been taken, and took the time to discuss and answer my questions. My previous records/results were shown to me, comparing those results with the current ones.

I highly recommned Dr Chi. His office is equipped the latest technology to make your eye exam experience positive. He has a very friendly front desk staff and make sure to ask for Maria who takes you through the initial eye exam before seeing Dr. Chi. STOP and look no further, you have found the eye doctor you are looking for!

Always have a wonderful experience whenever I come for my eye exam. Sam is the best. She helped me with the fitting of my prescription glasses. She's very patient, professional, and has a great disposition. Been coming here for years and would definitely recommend Brookhurst Optometric Center

Dr. Chi and his staff do great work and they are very friendly and helpful when there a. Issue with my glasses or my daughters go tax lenses. Love these Dr’s and their staff her at brookhurst optometry.

Good, friendly and efficient staff. Doctors are very personable and professional. I showed up early for my scheduled appointment and they had me back in the exam room seeing the doctor before I knew it. I definitely recommend.

Doctor Chi on my yearly eye exam discovered on the screening retinal pictures a tear in my left retina with possible retinal detachment. He assisted in contacting my Primary Care Provider and because of his efforts I got an urgent referral to a retinal specialist who was able to save my vision in the eye. I will be eternally grateful for the level of excellent care and caring I received.

Brookhurst Optometric has been my eye doctor for over 20 years starting with Dr James Cooperman. I recently went and did a full set of exams, ordered new glasses and new contacts. The staff is always very friendly and extremely professional. They have a great selection of frames, if you want a new frame with glasses. They make the experience a true delight and I would recommend them for all.

I usually don’t post but Brookhurst Optometric Center has exceeded my expectations. It used to be a different owner but they did a wonderful job continuing the service. Dr Chi is so helpful with my contact lens’s examination. He made sure I understood the changes and he answered all my questions. Sam is the most accommodating and helped me with all my requests. Such a wonderful experience with this office. Definitely will come back again.

Was greeted by the receptionist as soon as I entered the store. She was expecting me and was prepared to start on a series of tests, which she administered. Following these tests, I was ushered into the optical testing room where I met Dr. Chi. He administered the eye tests, decided on the corrections to my existing lenses, and handed them off to the lady who would do my glasses fitting. He also went over the test results that peeked into my eyes (no dilation required!) which indicated I was free from any bad stuff. I was allowed to keep my sunglasses frames (which I liked) and received the new glasses (sunglasses and clear) one week later. Wearing the new glasses now and am delighted with them. Pleasant and efficient operation which I recommend to anyone.

I went in for my annual exam. I expected to be greeted by a friendly staff and I certainly was! I was told Dr Cooperman himself retired which was no problem for me as I have never met him and was always examined by another doctor on staff. I must say that this crew working there is very friendly and professional. My appointment was on time, and I felt very well taken care of. I felt like they took the time to make sure I was getting the best service. The entire staff seems very knowledgeable and efficient. I would certainly recommend this office to anyone!

Husband has an urgent need to have his eye looked at, no appointment… the office scheduled him for next day, but asked him to stick around for a bit as they worked on getting him in sooner. He was seen later in the day and given a very thorough examination and testing. They went above and beyond for him.
In addition, we have experienced the staff to be very professional, patient and kind when calling to change or make appointments. Also when checking in to be seen.

I give two thumbs up to the dedicated office staff. I would recommend the Brookhurst Optometric Center to anyone who needs immediate vision care. I was a previous patient and hadn’t been seen for 1.5 year. I took a chance a walked in hoping to be seen.
I was greeted by Jacob who was warm and welcoming. I explained my vision problem and he asked if I wanted to be seen today. I said “yes”. Jacob checked my insurance and explained me the tests that would be performed. He was so kind and helpful. I was seen 30 minutes later and had a full eye exam and was fitted for contacts. I was so thrilled. I was seen by Dr Chi. Excellent Optometrist. He was very patience with me and explained and answered every question I had. He even assisted me by plucking sn ingrown hair from my eyelid. Wow! I checked out with the girls who were delightful . I had the best experience. The entire office staff was friendly and very helpful. Stop by and see them! You”ll be happy you did.

I had a good experience at this office for my eye exam. I've been having a little trouble seeing my phone with my glasses and Dr. Chi gave me a solution on my new ones. The staff were also very helpful since I walking in the door to me choosing
a new frame. They treats me like a family instead of another patient. Not having to dilate this year because of the tech they have might be one of the best part.
